ABOUT
Hi there! I'm Tabby. I love dogs, food, and most days, fitness. I've been a Massage Therapist since 2005. Although if you ask my dad I've been practicing massage since I was 3 years old because he used to have me walk on his back. I can guarantee you he'd never heard of Ashiatsu (massage applied with foot pressure).
In 2005 I graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College with an AS in Complimentary Healthcare and a Certificate in Massage Therapy. The professors were phenomenal: Highly respected physical therapists, massage therapists, PTs, MTs and specialty nurses. In 2009 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Worcester State College with a BS in Community Health.
After an internship in a chiropractor’s office for the MWCC Massage Therapy program, I launched Tabitha Vaillancourt Massage Therapy. I established a successful private practice, sharing space in the chiropractor’s office, and working in other settings: non-gym chiropractic, spa, and wellness centers.
I've worked with hundreds of patients with auto injuries, work related injuries, sports and gym injuries, chronic conditions and diseases (MS, TMJ, RA, fibromyalgia), plantar fasciitis, anxiety and depression, tendonitis, scar tissue, chronic pain, and much more.
I use a variety of modalities and techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, sports massage, PNF techniques, active and passive stretching, breath and visual techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu, Ashiatsu, neuromuscular release techniques, T-Touch, neuroenergy techniques, IATSM.
My niche is providing healing through massage.
"I went to see Tabitha with hopes of relieving my severe tennis elbow. Nothing else I had tried seemed to work. Within two sessions I was playing tennis again virtually pain free. She has such a rich repertoire of techniques to draw on, and she understands how the body works better than anyone I’ve met. Tabitha continues to help me with occasional tennis strains and injuries, and I also go to see her regularly for general aches and stress relief."
-Richard
"Tabitha really listens to, and understands, what you need. When I leave her office, I feel less anxious, things look more beautiful and colors seem brighter. She’s the first massage therapist I’ve ever seen on a regular basis. I used to think that massage was an indulgence, but I now realize that with the right therapist, it can enhance overall health and offer a sense of well-being."
